I own two of these skorts, one in tourmaline (a turquoise blue) and slate (light gray). I'm 5'1" and 108 lbs, small body, and the XS fits me neatly. I've tried many working skirts, together with the C9 from Target, Asics Ayami, Skirt Sports, and Running Skirts brands. My two favorites are this one from Brooks and the Skirt Sports Gym Girl. I needed a skort for working given that shorts can once in a while bunch up. Brooks did a perfect job here...I have worn it alone and with leggings and it put ons great both manners. I am 5'6, 138 lbs and the medium fits excellent. If you are slimmer I would recommend a small. The inside short fits neatly and doesn't trouble me after I run.
