Just got my third pair of these briefs, this time within the Tarmac coloration. I can document that the real shade is somewhat darker than the dark tan that seems in the photograph. They are in fact more of a brown. Not an problem -still goes with the navy top I used to be hoping to coordinate with. I'm 6'-2" 195 lbs.,thin construct, and the large fits me neatly. The quicks are designed to be worn with out lingerie. They include a built in (compression type) liner which prolongs down the leg, though shorter than the underside hem of the outer layer of the shorts. If you've got in point of fact muscular thighs you could also find the liner somewhat tight, but they work for me. I like the manner in which the quicks appear and feel on me. They don't flare out an extreme quantity of, which is something I search for in all shorts. (They do not make my rather skinny legs look skinnier.) The shorts are susceptible to a little bit of static cling from time to time, now not an important problem to me. I like the length of the shorts, now not too brief/too long. I regularly put on them on my common day hikes which features a steep seven-hundred feet. elev. scramble over boulders and rock. The quicks are elastic and do not impose any restrictions. (like my cotton climbing quicks do) They breathe very well. I've worn them on warm days in addition to within the 50 level range. The 2n1 Shorts have 2 typical side (hand) pockets and a small hidden key pocket which grasps from the waist band inside the shorts in front. It maintains just a few keys or a key fob conveniently. I feel I may have prefered a big zippered rear pocket however I on a regular basis elevate a waistpack/bottle carrier, or a backpack.

I attempt to pack gentle, so having to pack separate working quicks and compression briefs (boxer briefs) is a pain. I at all times tried to rely on the liner in usual quicks (the netting) but it didn't provide enough give a boost to. Things persevered to move around. My friend introduced me to these, and I love them. I own four pair of them and I'm certain I'll purchase more as they wear out. The fit is superb and the colours are nice. If you need extra strengthen and like "all in one" products, these are a zero compromise answer.
